Septic Tank Hydro Crates

Description

These plastic crates have been designed as an alternative to gravel or other free-draining material used to fill a soakaway trench.  Being much lighter than gravel they are easier to transport and handle and can be easily removed if your soakaway is temporary.  

Measuring 1000mm x 500mm x 400mm, three laid end to end creates a 3000mm x 500mm x 400mm soakaway suitable for use with our Cube septic tanks where the ground has average to good drainage conditions.

They are also ideal for use with regular septic tanks.  As a rule, and assuming average to good ground drainage conditions a 1-2 bedroom house requires 8 crates, a 3-4 bedroom house requires 10 crates, a 5-6 bedroom house requires 12 crates and a 7-8 bedroom house requires 14 crates.

Use our Geotextile Wrap to prevent surrounding soil from entering the crate void.
